Self-service customer order editing

About us

The most common service tickets are customers asking to make changes to their order. Instead of forcing them to contact you, you can instead let them self-service with Order Editing. Our self-service portal eliminates 15% of support tickets and drives more sales by turning edits into a shopping experience. Your customers see recommended products based on past orders that they can add and pay for in one click. Let customers edit their order self-service and upsell product recommendations after purchase.

Before long, customers will expect post purchase, self service order adjustments as standard. In the next 12 months it will feel strange if a store DOESN’T offer this!

Head of APAC at Order Editing | Shopify Alum

Caitlin Goldston was doing some Black Friday shopping on Kester Black last night. After she checked out, she saw the Order Editing extension on the thank you page and ran excitedly to show me. “Is this you guys?!!! This is you guys right?!?!” It hits different seeing something you’re helping to build being used in the wild like that. Not testing. Not onboarding. A real user experiencing our app within their normal shopping journey. A surreal moment I’ll never forget 🥹! The cherry on top was when she commented that “this just feels like this is part of Shopify” which was another super proud moment (hat tip to Mani Fazeli and Michael Elmgreen and their extensibility teams for making us look SO good here!) Thank you Kester Black for choosing Order Editing to help reduce your order adjustment tickets during your selling season! And thanks Hamish McKay and Kiril Climson for bringing me along on this wild ride! We’re just getting started 💪

The Technical Founder, Order Editing app | Building products customers love and being a mentor to others along the way.

You're forgetting about retention! If you let customers edit or cancel their orders self-service, your canceled orders will reduce by 25%. Order Editing can stop it from going to the warehouse for fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes of grace is all that is needed to let customers apply forgotten codes, switch payment methods, fix addresses etc. These are all retained canceled orders. We have built an integration for every type of third party fulfilment warehouse, ERP, and warehouse software. If you have next day shipping cut off, we can send those orders that are too close without any delay. Don't be silly and not let customers modify orders. #shopify

    23 and building a $20M Startup in public | Forbes 30 under 30

Why do 65% of Startups fail because of founders falling out? There is an ocean of people with enough intelligence and energy to build businesses. But what happens when you find out that your partner in crime is dishonest? Egotistical? When my Co-founder and I first met we exchanged life stories. The biggest green flag wasn't that he had built million dollar companies before or that he was a world class developer. It was his history of demonstrating strong morals. His story isn't mine to tell. If you're lucky enough to hear it, you'll understand why it's 1000x more valuable than any achievement of his. Finding the right Co-founder has been an absolute game changer. #startups #founders

"Firstly, just wanted to say how amazing the Order Editing App has been during our Black Friday sale. Touch wood, it's been the best sale from a Customer Service perspective we've ever had"

I'm sick of being asked what the best part of being a founder is because it is far from rocket science. It's knowing that you built things that other people use. Lots of people have ideas. Few bash into the walls of the world and change the way it is. When I worked in customer service, people had to contact me to make changes to online shopping orders. Since we built Order Editing, hundreds of thousands of customers have used our product to make changes — without contacting customer service. I get messages every day like this. Life's different now. You changed it. You improved it. — This post is heavily inspired by Steve Jobs, who's advice to young entrepreneurs is: "Shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you're just going to live in it, versus embrace it. Change it. Improve it. Make your mark upon it." Are you just living inside the world thinking that things are the way they are? #startups #founders

I'm thrilled to announce that Oliver Rhodes is the fourth angel invested in our Startup! We started when I was 21 and interning as a customer service rep for MrBeast. My first job, earning $25 an hour, and HUNGRY for more. I spent a third of my time making changes to online shopping orders on behalf of customers. In the future, this would never happen. Customers would do it themselves. A Twitter DM led me to share the problem with Kiril Climson. Order Editing was born. We went full time eleven months ago and now support 990 brands globally. From minimum wage to well over a million Kiwi dollars. I'm most proud that 70% are USA and UK brands. No easy feat for a Startup born out of New Zealand. In 24 months, customers will never need to reach out to make a change to their order. We started that. Oliver, thank you for believing in us. None of this would be possible without the support that has wrapped around my build in public journey. Over 3 million impressions. Thank you all for following and engaging with me. #startups

When I started as a young entrepreneur, I bragged about how many hours I worked and what little social life I had. I thought it was a badge of honour founders got to wear. It turns out it was my way of avoiding the hard truth of not knowing how to switch off and connect. Founder burnout is the most tragic reason a startup fails. Your mental health > everything else.

We convert 90% of our free trials to paying customers!!! 👀 How?? Two months ago I begged my network: Who we could hire that would make you think "How on earth did you manage to get them?!" Paul Goldston rolled off the tongue. I never predicted what the secret sauce would be... It's his chemistry with Co-founder, Kiril Climson. They have spent 1000 hours together building the best product and merchant success in market. Maybe it should have been obvious? Paul spent seven years at Shopify, growing the biggest brands to 9-figures. And to-date, Kiril builds Order Editing on his own. One developer supports 978 Shopify merchants and $4b+ of GMV. This feels surreal, really. Hiring is about finding A players, sure. But not every A player will be share the same vision as the founding team and row with the same technique. One happy founder and 978 happy merchants this Black Friday. #shopify #ecommerce #blackfriday

Growth Order Editing // Multi Start-up, 1x eCommerce exit

I’ll be honest—this was a nightmare at Skwosh😓 But I'm glad there's now a solution. We had an upsell strategy that offered customers 20% off if they placed an additional order within 30 minutes of their first. It worked wonders—customers were primed to buy, and the urgency was a game-changer. But it came with a major headache. Two separate orders instead of one. Customer service scrambling to merge them. Reaching out to 3PLs to consolidate shipments Wasting time, money, and adding to emissions. I often wished we had a solution that allowed customers to add items to their existing order without all the pain points. And now we do—thanks to Order Editing. Now, customers can easily: Add items to their cart post-checkout. Change shipping options or swap sizes. Edit their addresses—no tickets, no delays. It’s a smoother experience for customers and takes the pressure off your team—especially during peak periods (let Santa do the heavy lifting this Christmas, not your customer service team). Every Shopify store should be offering this in 12 months time. It boosts satisfaction, saves time, and increases revenue. If you’re not using it, let’s chat. #shopify #ecommerce #bfcm #saas #startup
