Oroton x Thread Together As part of our continued partnership with Thread Together we spent the morning volunteering at their fulfilment centre today. Here’s a fun snapshot of what we got up to featuring the sorting component of the morning. We finished off our session packing individual orders for those in need - today we were shopping for young people needing their first corporate wardrobe, families affected by domestic violence and children living in far North Queensland affected by the recent floods needing school clothes. In Conversation | Jessica Watson A household name at just 16 years old, Jess Watson captured the collective imagination when she became the youngest person to sail solo non-stop around the world. Her courage and determination made global headlines back in May 2010 when she rounded the Heads and sailed into Sydney Harbour, completing a life-altering voyage. In 2024, she joined the Oroton Drumfire crew in the iconic Sydney to Hobart yacht race and she also stepped into the role of ambassador for Oroton Group's new Everyday Tote – a versatile tote crafted from recycled plastics that aims to raise awareness and funds for ocean health. I'm so honoured to have been given a chance to help bring this shoot to life working behind the scenes to produce and art direct on set, or on SEA I should say! Though I don't think I'm quite built for the ocean like Jess is...
