About us

• Multi-partner coordination and technical assistance facility established in 2008 to help improve the quality and coverage of infrastructure in the Pacific. • PRIF provides an interface between development partners and its Pacific member countries to improve the quality and coverage of infrastructure and service delivery. It works to enhance coordination of PRIF partner investments in the Pacific and provide technical advice on infrastructure development and sustainable infrastructure management to PRIF partners and member countries. • PRIF partners the Asian Development Bank, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, European Union, European Investment Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency, New Zealand Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade, United States Department of State and the World Bank Group. • PRIF’s Pacific member countries are Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.   • Infrastructure Adviser for the Pacific Quality Infrastructure Principles. Are you keen to support building quality infrastructure in the Pacific? If so, check out this opportunity.   Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility is seeking an Infrastructure Adviser to support the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) in Suva, Fiji, in implementing the Pacific Quality Infrastructure Principles, supported by Australia's Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The position will be filled for an initial period of 12 months, with a possible extension up to 18 months beginning in early 2025. The PRIF Infrastructure Advisor will bring infrastructure capacity and expertise to PIFS, including technical and policy capabilities, to assist PIFS in executing its role in the implementation of the Principles. They will serve as the focal point within the PIFS on quality infrastructure to assist coordination at the regional level, including alignment of national-led infrastructure planning and development, and support for advocacy and engagement with regional bodies and external stakeholders.
