Lindsay McCall receives prestigious award Earlier this month at the Melbourne Royal Wine Show Awards Lunch, our very own Lindsay McCall was awarded the Wine Communicators of Australia Legend of the Vine, in front of many of his wine industry associates and colleagues. This accolade recognises Linsday's outstanding contribution to the Australian wine industry, epitomising the spirit and ethos of the WCA maxim of 'Connect, Develop, Engage and Inspire' and who throughout their career has led by example and has added their own skilled and distinctive voice to the Australian wine story. National WCA executive chairman, Angus Barnes said McCall was a “true advocate, leader, and icon” of the wine industry on the Mornington Peninsula. “Although he often remains behind the scenes, Lindsay exemplifies the qualities of an exceptional communicator – consistent, reliable, and a mentor to many,” said Barnes. “Through his passion, vision, and unwavering commitment, Lindsay McCall has created a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations of winemakers in Victoria.
