We recently partnered with the wonderful team at Keep Left on their popup for Guide Dogs Australia 🦮 It was a Black Friday Sale but with a big twist – shoppers weren’t able to see what they were buying, because that’s exactly what shopping online can be like for those living blindness or low vision. At the Blackout Friday event, you could experience what it’s like to shop based solely on product descriptions, like ‘red jumper’. Could you be ordering a cute knit or a Christmas nightmare? What a great initiative to help raise awareness about the challenges faced by those with blindness and low vision every day.
