Peikko is proud to have contributed to the 5,188 sqm cold storage warehouse for PFD Food Services, located within the new 52,000 sqm industrial precinct at Gold Coast Airport. This state-of-the-art facility includes freezer, chilled, and dry food storage, with room for a 6,000 sqm future expansion. Our TERAJOINT® - Special SSSJ system was chosen to support the heavy-duty cold storage slab, ensuring durability and performance in this high-demand environment. #Peikko #Construction #Engineering

A cool innovation from Peikko in Finland! Peikko’s DELTABEAM® Slim Floor Solution and connection items played a key role in Kemi’s iconic all-year-round SnowCastle. Designed to withstand the weight of snow and ice while offering open, versatile spaces, this unique structure sits beautifully by the sea. Peikko APAC management was pleased to participate in the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2024 Asia Conference, which took place on December 3rd and 4th at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, a beacon of innovation in the heart of Thailand’s capital city, One Bangkok. Themed "Harnessing Rapid Growth: Density and the Challenges of City-Making in Asia," the conference attracted an impressive turnout of 300 attendees, with over 30 speakers delivering remarkable presentations. Asia, with its vibrant and pivotal cities, is a hub for rapid growth and immense potential. The conference served as a crucible of innovation, gathering an esteemed group of building owners, architects, developers, designers, construction industry visionaries from 117 top companies worldwide to explore the challenges and prospects of contemporary urban centers. Together, they were committed to creating sustainable and economically viable urban environments across the region.
