In what is perhaps one of the worst-kept secrets in the Perth planning industry, Planning Solutions is pleased to announce that founder Paul Kotsoglo has snapped his scale rule over his knee, chucked his R-Codes in the bushes, hopped on his motorbike, and roared into retirement from town planning. Taking over the reins at Planning Solutions will be our longtime Directors Tayne Evershed and Ben Doyle, joined by newly-promoted Principals and shareholders Marc Re, Ross Underwood and Josh Watson.     Paul founded the company in May 1999, and over the last 25 years he has grown the practice from his front room in a weatherboard house in East Victoria Park, into a highly regarded planning practice with offices on St Georges Terrace. Over that time, Planning Solutions has delivered many projects large and small, changing the face of Perth and the regions. Paul is rightly proud of this legacy.   We are very pleased to provide this opportunity to our loyal team members, and our new leadership group is looking forward to growing and building on the strong foundation established by Paul and the team.   For all those who’ve asked what PK is doing next, you might want to check out Kotsoglo & Kotsoglo.     Marc, Josh, Ben, Tayne, and Ross!

Heritage, History, and the journey of life   Between 1953 and 2006 over 50,000 babies were born at the former Woodside Maternity Hospital. 50 years before that, it was used as a home and then a hospital. The maternity hospital was renowned for its quality of care at the start of life’s journey. In December 2023, the WAPC approved Hall & Prior's Woodside Care Precinct; 160-bed residential aged care, wellness centre and supported independent living homes for people living with a disability. The Woodside Care Precinct will continue to be a place of innovation and excellence in care, for the ageing. Project team: Kerry Hill Architects, Daniel P., Seán McGivern, Natalie Busch, Philip Griffiths, Scott Lambie, Matthew Cain, Planning Solutions
