Plutonic Limited's Champion Project. Hoping for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in 2025. https://lnkd.in/gG3YmSBJ
At Plutonic, our passion for chasing the thrill of discovery is more than a motto; it's the heartbeat of our mission. Amid the stark, sweeping landscapes of the Simpson Desert in the Northern Territory, we embark on a journey fueled by an insatiable curiosity and relentless drive to uncover the earth's hidden treasures. The pursuit of hypergiant ore deposits is not just a scientific endeavor, but a romantic quest that marries the untamed spirit of adventure with cutting-edge exploration technology. As we navigate this remote wilderness, every survey, every core sample, and every new finding ignites the spark of possibility. For our investors, this translates into a story of unyielding dedication and the boundless potential that each discovery holds. Join us in embracing the magic of the unknown, where the thrill of unearthing the next great deposit promises not just significant returns, but a shared legacy in the annals of geological discovery!

The AusIMM's Central Victoria Branch's Annual Meeting, Tuesday February 11th at Henry of Harcourt. I encourage those interested in getting involved with the Branch Committee for 2025 to attend and to get in touch with me in the lead-up. I'm really pleased and excited to have Dr. Kris Butera present on the Champion Project. We'll be transported to a remote part of the country to hear about this exciting mineral system. https://lnkd.in/gmupx4cE

Lion first invested in Plutonic Limited in 2022. At that point, just about all we knew about was the surface geology and a tectonic concept that it was a good place to be looking. Fast forward two years and Kris Butera ran through the Plutonic story for Lion shareholders at our AGM. WARNING: Kris talks in geologeese ! He could say that Plutonic has gone on to: - Identify a large footprint hydrothermal system (translation: large metal deposits can't form without a large hydrothermal system) - Show that alteration is a similar age to copper-gold events in Eastern Australia (translation: we know metal deposits were forming in Eastern Australia about 400-440 million years ago. We now think the same events effected the rocks at Champion, opening the window to similar deposits being formed) - Demonstrate values of copper and gold up to 0.31% copper and 1.3g/t gold from surface rock chip samples (translation: there's metal in these rocks... is there any more ?) - Identify IP anomalies proximal to key prospects that already show geochemical anomalism and alteration (translation: IF there are metal deposits at Champion, they will produce an electrical response. We've found three of these, in good spots. Doesn't mean they are a deposit, but makes us want to drill) Kris and I sat down for a chat and recorded the best bits... There's not many videos of Plutonic out there, so for everyone that has been asking - here is a great place to start. https://lnkd.in/gjxauGfY Thanks to Shae Russell from Mining.com.au and the team for masterful video editing, so close to Christmas. RIDONKULOUS How big is the Ridonkulous target at Plutonic Limited's Champion Project? Find out as I get interviewed by the Plutonic Chairman (and Lion Selection Group Managing Director), Hedley Widdup. Special thanks to Shae Russell of Mining.com.au for the production of the video, and apologies for butchering it in a way that only I can!

Someone called us Petrological Terrorists the other day. I don't really know what that means, but it sounds good - so thanks heaps to that person!

Protracted multigenerational brecciation and polyphase overprinting in a porphyry-epithermal transitional environment. Plutonic Limited's Champion Project, Northern Territory, Australia. In this case, the most common observations are potential porphyry-related hydrothermal alteration, brecciation, mineralisation and/or veining overprinting earlier low sulphidation veins (blade textures, crustiform-colloform banding, etc). First couple of photos are strongly oxidized sulphide veins overprinting earlier high level epithermal veins (blade textures - near absolute top of the vein system).

Lost my public speaking virginity yesterday - well for this decade at least... Plutonic Limited had a great day yesterday, showcasing our Champion Project at Lion Selection Group's inaugural AGM And Strategy Day. Along with Ian Bamborough of Saturn Metals Limited and Alex Rovira of Brightstar Resources, I got the opportunity to showcase Plutonic Limited's Champion Project and value potential. Along with meeting with many of our direct and indirect shareholders, I think the wonderfully innovative industry-leading event was an excellent interactive showcase, concieved by the newly appointed Managing Director of Lion Selection Group - Hedley Widdup. So, many thanks to Hedley Widdup who needs to update his LinkedIn profile to MD rather than CEO, and the entire Lion Selection Group team for the invitation and the hospitality, to the very welcoming LSX shareholders and guests who showered me with positive feedback and encouragement. And to Robin Widdup for the continued warm support and encouragement, and friendly dinner chat. I feel honoured to have recieved a Lion Tyler Exploration Medal - now sitting on my shelf next to my most prized rocks collected over the years. Special thanks also to Shae Russell also for the neverending support and coaching, and for a great media interview. And a warm thanks for the great photos posted here, mostly taken by my new mate Patrick Poke of PLP Finance Media. I especially love the first pic of Hedley Widdup and I stumbling around Collins Street, the original home of the Australian Mining Industry, perhaps an early glimpse of the emergence of a new empire.
