A new chapter begins for Porsche Centre Melbourne.   Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, and Roger Penske, Chair of Penske Automotive Group, recently visited the newly renovated Porsche Centre Melbourne to mark the continued partnership between Porsche and Penske Automotive.   Penske now officially takes over operations at Porsche Centre Melbourne, kicking off a new era in Porsche’s growth in Australia. The newly revamped space, opening early 2025, will redefine what it means to experience Porsche. Over two unforgettable days, owners of Porsche GT icons like the 911 GT3 RS and the 718 Cayman GT4 RS had the opportunity to experience pure performance driving. Kicking off at the historic Adelaide 500 Street Circuit and continuing at The Bend Motorsport Park, this exclusive event embodied the thrill and precision that Porsche delivers. This event also marked the Australian debut of the Porsche GT Circle, a dedicated community for GT owners united by their love of spirited driving. Through the Porsche GT Circle, members gain access to exclusive driving programs, expert insights, and the new GT Circle app, where they can connect with certified Manthey-Racing professionals and access specialised tutorials. This October, Porsche Cars Australia were privileged to host Make-A-Wish Australia during an inspiring Wish workshop, where our team were involved in the creative brainstorming for a five-year-old wish child’s ultimate Pirate Adventure.   This meaningful session connected us to Porsche’s commitment to making a difference beyond the workplace.   Thank you to Make-A-Wish for this wonderful opportunity, and to our team for embracing it with such enthusiasm and creativity.
