PUTTING PEOPLE AT THE CENTRE OF SUCCESS

About us

PPL Centrik has been created to support leaders and organisations to ‘put people at the centre of success’. The success of a leader comes from the quality of communication and the impact they make. What I learned over the past 20 years in HR is that poor communication was the primary reason for lack of team cohesion, unresolved conflict, poor decision making, ineffective executed change management programs, or unresolved people issues. At PPL Centrik, we help leaders & individuals communicate with impact by expressing themselves through brave, authentic & clear communication. We run workshops to help leaders and individuals become more self aware of their personality styles & emotional intelligence. With improved awareness of self, leaders are better equipped to adapt their style to meet the needs of individuals or team’s which overall achieves: - A culture of psychological safety - Team collaboration & effectiveness - Improved communication - Better decision making - Improved innovation - Strong business results What organisation doesn’t need that? I bring years of senior HR Generalist experience in leading culture change projects in a manufacturing environment, developing leadership capabilities including coaching managers and executives, building cohesive teams and creating commercial HR strategies to support the organisation’s goals. My strengths lie in breaking down silos with effective communication, giving and receiving consultative feedback, developing leadership skills and leading transformational change that aligns to the organisational strategy. I welcome your call to discuss your needs.

Are you not convinced that psychological safety in the workplace equates to improved performance results? Maybe this model by Amy Edmondson (and all her supporting research) will start to challenge your thinking. If you're not sure... think about your own experience. Can you remember a time when you felt safe to speak up, competent in your performance, supported & invested in by your manager or business, challenged in your work and professional development and empowered to get on with the job? What was the outcome? I've been lucky enough to feel all those things in a previous role and it was great. Here's how it positively impacted me: ▶ It drove me to innovate HR programs and genuinely collaborate with my peers on any necessary tweaks without feeling threatened. 🔆 It motivated me to go 'the extra mile' which was my choice to give discretionary effort. 👍 It fostered a really positive team culture where I felt supported by my peers, my manager and my direct reports. 🚀 It enabled me to inspire my team to step up to new challenges and pitch in when the times were tough. 💯 It led to the delivery and achievement so much more than was planned on a page at the beginning of the year. ✅ It fuelled my passion to support and service the business to the best of my ability and 🆗 when I was given tough feedback on my performance - I knew it was coming from a 'good place' and would only assist me in reaching my full potential. That type of mindset isn't easy but when you feel genuine psychologically safety, assuming positive intent becomes your default belief. What are some of your connected experiences between psychological safety and performance? #leadershipdevelopment #leaders #communication #emotionalintelligence #psychologicalsafety   ➡Looking to build your team's communication skills & create a culture of psychological safety? I help leaders & teams communicate more effectively resulting in improved workplace interactions and better business outcomes. Please get in touch with me if you’d like to have a chat.
