Established over 40 years ago, Precedent Productions is a privately owned event management company with a progressive approach to new ideas and ventures, and the expertise vital to delivering high profile events. Precedent Productions, a small business in their own right, have earned the reputation as a leader in the provision of event management and production services. They have successfully created and managed a multitude of both state and national award programs, including the Early Childhood Education Awards, Australian Garden Industry Awards, Hardware Industry Awards, Building and Design Awards, Business in the Arts Awards, AMP Shopping Centre Retailer Awards, and the Seafood Industry Awards. The Local Business Awards were established in 1985 and are now presented in 28 regions around NSW. Each year, 38,000 businesses register with 7,500 becoming Awards Finalists. Over 13,000 people attended the Presentation Evenings. Precedent Productions flagship event, The Australian Small Business Champion Awards commenced in 1999 with an annual presentation evening that attracts 1,000 small business people in attendance. Precedent Productions also presents The Australian Small Business Champion Conference where engaging sessions are presented by past small business winners and industry leaders.
