PRECI (Professionals and Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention)

There’s webinars, and then there’s webinars. Last night, the Review of Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention information session provided fascinating insights and playback from key stakeholder groups consulted. Gretchen Young presented such eye opening insights from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consultations, Skye Kakoschke-Moore shared really grounding nights direct from young people, Karen Dimmock shone a light of valuable family perspectives, Tim Moore gave a great introductory overview of the desktop findings, along with a host of exceptional panellists. Having attended a number of consults run by PRECI (Professionals and Researchers in Early Childhood Intervention), I was really impressed by the consultation methodology and depth, courtesy of Denise Luscombe and Kerry Bull. Thank you to the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the University of Melbourne for a great webinar. Not only have these insights been great for the review, but also provide key reflection points to embed into our best practice appproaches at Playgroup NSW.
