Our recent Grand Final BBQ at Precision was another memorable event of fun and appreciation for our hardworking team. As an ongoing tradition, these quarterly BBQs provide a great opportunity to reflect on the last few months, celebrate progress and recognise outstanding contributions. This particular BBQ was extra special with the unveiling of a beautiful Indigenous artwork by Kirralee Costelloe from Maiarla Dreaming. The piece beautifully captures Precision’s journey from early days to the growth we are experiencing today, as well as illustrating how central our people are to everything we do. As always, we shared updates on the company’s growth and presented awards to those who have displayed our company values and contributed innovative ideas for process improvement. These gatherings remind us how vital our team is to Precision’s success. We are also very proud to continue fostering strong relationships with the Indigenous community. Giving Back to the Community: A Rewarding Day at Magpie Nest Café Yesterday, 11 of us from the team at Precision Electronic Technologies had the privilege of volunteering at the Magpie Nest Café, run by The Salvation Army. It was more than just a day of service; it was an opportunity to bond as a team while making a positive impact on our community. Our duties included taking orders, plating meals, serving them, washing dishes, and cleaning up. The team at the café mentioned that we brought with us an infectious positive energy and plenty of smiles. We were able to serve 118 breakfast dishes and 148 lunches, ensuring that everyone who walked through the doors was met with a warm meal and a friendly face. The experience was deeply rewarding for all of us. Giving back not only allowed us to contribute to a cause we care about, but also strengthened our bonds as a team. We left the café with full hearts, inspired to do more in our community. A big thank you to The Salvation Army and the team at Magpie Nest Café for allowing us to be part of this incredible experience. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve just secured the keys to a new premises, located just meters from our current HQ in Mitcham, VIC. This expansion will add an additional 1,000 square meters to our local manufacturing footprint, enabling us to take on larger contracts and meet the growing demand for final product building activities right here in Australia. With this new space, we'll be better equipped to handle a range of activities including box building, sub-assemblies, wiring, testing, potting, conformal coating, stock holding, and more.
