In Lisa’s latest blog, she shares real-life lessons learned while balancing work, family, and life’s unexpected challenges, showing that being flexible, staying true to yourself, and stepping outside your comfort zone are key to effective media engagement. https://lnkd.in/ePrGF3cc

Earned media builds trust, credibility, and provides lasting visibility across platforms. A story reported by a journalist offers authenticity that resonates with audiences and drives engagement far beyond what paid content can achieve. It's a good morning when The Canberra Times and it's regional affiliates publish not one but two client pieces - and on the same page! Adrian Kat of Advanced Dental Artistry has shared his opinion on a health issue that may be contributing to many patients experiencing discoloured or decaying teeth. Meanwhile, Tetiana George of Curium has shared her concerns on the hidden commissions adding thousands to our insurance costs. It's fantastic to see our clients showcasing their expertise and connecting with audiences across the country.

Andrew Murray from Curve recently featured in The Canberra Times and received national coverage across 70 regional publications. He shared insights on the crucial role of strategic investment. By wisely managing surplus funds, he argues, councils can improve public spaces, expand essential services, and support programs that strengthen community engagement. Now more than ever, responsible financial stewardship is essential to sustainable growth and a thriving future for our communities. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gyqbijrJ

At Profile Media, we're a tight knit, highly collaborative team who work remotely from our homes around the country, but this week saw two of our team come together for the very first time. Emma and Lisa flew from Sydney and Perth respectively to deliver media workshops in Melbourne with the teams at Ventora Medical, Navi Medical Technologies, VividWhite and 4DMedical - incredibly valuable sessions for all involved as we discussed how to better communicate the fantastic work these companies are doing. It was also the first opportunity Emma and Lisa have had in the three years of working together to meet in person, and you can be sure there were excited squeals and hugs. Thank you to MTPConnect for creating the opportunity for Profile Media to facilitate these sessions and bring our team together!

A big day of media in Brisbane for Bionics Gamechangers Australia to announce the 2024 MAIC Qld Student Bionics Innovation Challenge winners. We coordinated a press conference securing the attendance of 9News and 7NEWS Brisbane crews, with more media coverage expected in the coming days. And congratulations to PhD candidate, Vaheh Nazari and his RehabExo team who won $10,000 to help fast-track the development of a futuristic superhero suit combining mechanical support and electrical stimulation, to help children unable to walk become mobile.

Last week, Joe had the privilege of attending Change 2024, co-hosted by The Behaviour Change Collaborative and Social Marketing @ Griffith. The conference highlighted the power of social marketing—a strategic approach that drives positive behavioural change for the benefit of society, not to be confused with social media marketing. By addressing pressing issues such as public health, environmental sustainability, and safety, social marketing focuses on creating meaningful impact in the world. It was inspiring to witness the incredible projects showcased, and the tangible change that many of the speakers are driving through their work. #Change2024 #SocialMarketing #BehaviourChange #PositiveImpact Julia Carins, Jody Evans, Jeawon Kim, PhD, Mark Paterson, Ashley Kelly, Jo Taranto, Allison Grainger, Romane Cristescu
