Inspired by Safe Work Month – For All of Us (Community), to enhance our sense of purpose and to make a difference the Programmed Group team approached Mission Australia to provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) to front line workers in the community who are supporting those affected by Domestic Violence – as well as a wide range of other community issues. Mission Australia was an obvious choice, with the commitment to these causes in addition to being a national charity organisation motivated by a shared vision: an Australia where everyone has a safe home and can thrive. Katrina Hurst, one of Programmed’s dedicated MHFA Trainers, delivered the training to a very appreciative team in the Mission Australia Belmont offices. Kay Cohen, Partnership Manager, Partnerships and Philanthropy – Mission Australia, stated: “I wanted to say thank you very much for extending the MHFA to the team at Mission Australia! It was excellent and we all learnt a lot – not just for staff or other people, but for ourselves and our everyday life. Katrina was fabulous!” Thank you, Katrina! Delivering this training to those who make such a difference in our community embodies Programmed’s For All of Us (Community), defining a sense of purpose and making an incredible impact.

Programmed brought together our trusted vendor network for an inspiring day dedicated to safety and wellbeing at our Annual Safety Townhall. With insights from industry experts like Brendan Sutton (Working at Heights Association), Lucas Parkinson (HazEd), and our own General Manager Noel Kelly, vendors explored the latest trends and best practices in safety. From interactive displays featuring advanced equipment by 3M to Gripps' tool tethering solutions, vendors gained hands-on experience to support a safer work environment. This event is just one of the ways Programmed prioritises our commitment to your wellbeing, ensuring you return home safely every day.
