More housing around stations is a good idea. But unless nearby public transport runs frequently, 7 days a week, it's a recipe for more traffic congestion. A good discussion last week on active transport, with Minister for Public and Active Transport Gabrielle Williams, and other advocates, including our friends at Victoria Walks. Better walking and cycling options help get more people to public transport more efficiently, and mean fewer households paying for an extra car to sit in a car park all day.🚉🚶🚴
