🌿 Australian companies use ESG metrics in 92% of incentive plans, according to WTW. Its recent study revealed that nearly 75% of APAC's top 50 listed companies are adopting ESG metrics in exec pay programs. It's clear that ESG credentials are becoming critical for businesses and executives to not only comply but compete. To get this right, organisations will need to ensure ESG data is accurate and transparent. Amendments to Australia's Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Rule mean more Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme project data and information will be available on the Clean Energy Regulator‘s website. 🌍 Transforming climate data transparency: At COP29 Azerbaijan, Standards Australia and the International Code Council announced the Universal Data Protocol (UDP)—a game-changer for transparent, auditable, and verifiable compliance in the built environment. What's next? --- Pyx is accelerating the UN Transparency Protocol (UNTP) to enhance climate data operability across the built environment. As the project's UNTP acceleration partner, Pyx is focused on collaborating to turn this vision for a UDP into a reality. In the coming months, we will assist to develop a proof-of-concept of the protocol to demonstrate its application with real world businesses. Explaining the Acronyms --- UN Transparency Protocol (UNTP) >>> An emerging global standard that provides a secure, decentralised framework for data sharing, allowing cross-border, cross-sector data exchange without a central database.
