AI is set to revolutionise the way we live and work, transforming both personal and professional spheres. I’m thrilled to step up as the Director of the QLD AI Hubs Brisbane Chapter, where I’ll focus on raising awareness, deepening understanding, and building AI skills within the Brisbane community. In this role, I’m excited to facilitate / organise workshops and masterclasses aimed at inspiring businesses to harness AI for positive and meaningful impact. My mission is to empower individuals and organisations to embrace AI as a tool for innovation and growth. The potential of AI for good is something I’ve witnessed personally. When my father was diagnosed with MND, it became clear how technology could profoundly improve lives. Through my work with EasyTalk (geteasytalk.com), we’ve been able to give people who have lost the ability to speak their voice again. Allowing them to communicate effectively, restoring a fundamental part of their humanity. I look forward to collaborating with the Brisbane community to explore the incredible possibilities AI holds for creating a better future.

This project was months in the making and was designed to showcase the power of AI in visual storytelling to highlight one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Last night I attended the TEN13 Connection Series Fireside chat with Joel Pobar, Anthropic + Matthew Lennie, @Meta, who discussed LLMs. It was really interesting with some great take aways of just how fast this thing is moving. One speaker suggested that by 2026 LLMs will be $10^6$ smarter than or normalized to ChatGPT4, roughly that equates to a million times more intelligent.
