About us

Established in 2016, Quidgybo delivers management consulting with a purpose. When Quidgybo was founded, we had a single premise in mind – a straightforward company that’s committed to providing business solutions with our client’s needs at the forefront. We’re a expert team of problem solvers based out of Sydney that connect to our clients remotely across Australia. But you’ll find us travelling on-site as projects demand. Asset management software is part of our core, we’re experts at big data migration and complex system integration and architecture. Starting a project can lead to obstacles and a lack of direction, we can help with that. Quidgybo has a proven track record in providing project management. We’ve supported clients with project mobilisation and handover. Our expertise spans various fields and can cover complex criteria and we’ve led the delivery of advanced integrated solutions for our clients. During our time in business, we’ve worked on high-profile projects with budgets of up to 16 billion AUD. Our team has worked extensively in the construction and engineering industries for clients such as Fulton Hogan Egis Operations and Maintenance, Place Management NSW, and ONELink Consortium – and among others. We’ve been involved in major projects such as WestConnex, Australia’s largest motorway infrastructure project, and North East Link, a 26-kilometre toll motorway in Melbourne. We played a lead role in connecting the BIM to Maximo for WestConnex. Quidgybo has developed complex interfaces between Maximo, BIM, and OMCS systems that work for our clients. Using Complyflow and IBM TRIRIGA we championed an asset management strategy for Place Management NSW, an organisation that manages Sydney's most historically and culturally significant waterfront. Quidgybo specialises in real consultancy. We’re passionate about the power of technology and information and how they can be used to improve organisations

  • 🤝 Breaking Down Silos for Business Success! In today’s fast-paced business world, managing projects in isolation—or "silos"—can severely hinder a company’s competitive edge. Siloed project management often results in duplicated efforts and missed opportunities, highlighting the need for integrated, cross-departmental collaboration. Siloed projects lack communication across teams, leading to inefficiencies like misaligned marketing campaigns and delayed project timelines. For example, if a customer experience project ignores feedback from customer service, the end result may fail to meet real customer needs. This not only affects specific projects but can derail broader organizational goals. To navigate these challenges, fostering open communication and collaboration across departments is crucial. Companies must align project management with overall business strategies to ensure each project contributes to the organization’s success. This approach boosts efficiency, drives innovation, and enhances adaptability in a competitive market. #ProjectManagement #Innovation #Collaboration

  • 🔄 Bridging Virtual and Real The recent journal article "An Approach to Develop Digital Twins in Industry" by Raúl González-Herbón et al. marks a significant stride towards the confluence of physical and digital realms within industrial environments. The authors present a comprehensive methodology for creating digital twins, integrating them with a myriad of Industry 4.0 technologies such as automation, robotics, cloud computing, and augmented/virtual reality, to mention a few. This multidisciplinary approach not only amplifies the potential of digital twins but also paves the way for a more resilient, efficient, and innovative industrial landscape. Digital twins, as elucidated in the article, are not only digital replicas of physical systems but dynamic entities that evolve in real-time, mirroring the changes in their physical counterparts. The inclusion of AR/VR in developing these twins opens up new vistas for immersive interaction, allowing stakeholders to engage with the industrial processes in unprecedented ways. The use of Unity and Node-RED, among other tools, exemplifies a move towards more accessible and versatile platforms for digital twin development, breaking away from proprietary solutions that often limit innovation. The paper's emphasis on the seamless integration of various Industry 4.0 technologies with digital twins highlights a crucial point: the future of industrial innovation lies in the ability to synergise different technological domains. This not only enhances the functionality and applicability of digital twins but also addresses key industrial challenges such as predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and system optimisation. #digitaltwin #bim #technology #iot
