About us

The Red Lily Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (RLHB) was formed in 2011 to empower Aboriginal people of the West Arnhem region to address the health issues they face through providing leadership and governance in the development of quality, effective primary health care services, with a long-term vision of establishing a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Red Lily Health Mission: To address the issues regarding the poor health of Aboriginal people of the West Arnhem region. Red Lily Health Vision: Aboriginal people of the West Arnhem region have access to services that support good health and allow them to actively participate in their communities. Red Lily Health Values: Honesty, Trust, Respect, Confidentiality. Acknowledgement: Red Lily Health is funded by Kakadu West Arnhem Social Trust (KWAST), NT Primary Health Network (NT PHN) & Australian Government Department of Health. Red Lily Health is supported by Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance NT (AMSANT) & NT Health, Top End Health Service (NT Government).

This significant celebration, led by our board and community, marks the transition of our health service from NT Government to Red Lily Health Board🌟 The event was a beautiful tribute to Mr. Lami Lami, whose original vision for a community-controlled health service in West Arnhem has finally become a reality. His son’s heartfelt tribute and the symbolic handholding of all attendees truly embodied our motto: "working together for better health in West Arnhem."🫱🏾🫲🏾❤️ Red Lily Chair June Nadjamerrek shared, “The Board would like to recognise Mr. Lami Lami from Warruwi for his original vision for a community-controlled health service in West Arnhem.
