Dylan, who is a para-canoeing world champion, will participate in his third Paralympics at just 24 years of age after Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Awarded – Rheem Global Disruption Award Product Development and Launch is typically a 24+month cycle… I am excited to announce, that here at Rheem Australia, we have achieved this in a rapid 12-months for our new R290 Heat Pump. We spent three (3) months in conceptualising the product and then is the in just twelve (12) months - from detailed design, development, production, engineering, testing, quality compliance, market test, roll-out and then launched it with extensive marketing! It all stems from a simple idea… and 15 months ago, we challenged ourselves to develop a high efficiency, residential integrated heat pump using the Ultra Low GWP (Global Warming Potential) R290 refrigerant technology completely in-house – and have been able to successful launch the Rheem AmbiPower 280e heat pump with a GWP of < 3. This has been one of the fastest products to be developed and launched in this market segment. Being recognised and awarded the “Rheem Global Water Innovation Award – Global Disruption” has been the cherry on top, but this could not have been achieved without the support of from R&D, Product Development, Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sourcing & Planning and Service teams to name a few in Rheem Australia & Rheem Vietnam. Proud to be have been a part of the team.
