The roll out of the FRRR (Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal) IRCF program to rural Victoria is a fabulous example of an evidenced-based, community led, placed based initiative. After the development of a 2.5 year philanthropic collaboration, it’s exciting to see this coming to life. Thank you FRRR for your terrific leadership.
FRRR is bringing our five-year, place-based Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program to Victoria. This grassroots program aims to build the capacity of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. After extensive desktop reviews and community visits, five communities have been shortlisted as having the potential to achieve significant impact through the program. Over the next couple of weeks, FRRR is hosting online information sessions, inviting all community leaders, volunteers and staff involved with local not-for-profits and community groups in Colac, Hamilton, Swan Hill, Maryborough and Portland. We're so excited to meet with these communities and explore their interest in being part of the IRCF journey. Find out more about the program and what's involved and REGISTER for the online sessions: https://lnkd.in/gQ8T4-Fh This initiative is possible thanks to the support of Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, The Jack Brockhoff Foundation, The Ross Trust and The William Buckland Foundation. #Community #LocalSolutions #LastingImpact #NFPs #Victoria #RuralVIC #SwanHill #Maryborough #Hamilton #Portland #Colac
