Welcome back, Deb Willcox! We are thrilled to announce that Deb Willcox, AM, has rejoined us as the new Chief Executive of Sydney Local Health District! Deb’s impressive journey has come full circle. A former registered nurse who began her career at RPA, Deb is known for her exceptional compassion, intelligence and infectious humour. As our much–loved Director of Operations and former General Manager of RPA, she left an indelible mark on our team. Her unwavering commitment to the welfare of both staff and patients has made her the heart and soul of RPA. Before her return, Deb served as the Deputy Secretary of Health System Strategy and Patient Experience at the Ministry of Health, where she achieved remarkable milestones. She spearheaded the implementation of the NSW Health Future Health Strategy and negotiated crucial inter-government health agreements. Her oversight of initiatives addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse demonstrates her dedication to making a difference in our community. Deb brings a unique blend of strategic and operational insight, along with a commitment to fostering a culture of care and compassion for both staff and patients.
