RSGx is thrilled to announce our latest contract win for the construction of the Eliwana and Flying Fish substations in the Pilbara region, a cornerstone of the Pilbara Transmission Project - Stage 4. Situated at the Eliwana mine site, these high-voltage substations will play a critical role in supporting Fortescue’s decarbonisation strategy and enhancing power distribution across their network.   Our scope is made up of Supply, fabrication, installation, and testing of 2 X 220/33kV substations – delivering essential high-voltage infrastructure with extensive civil, concrete, fencing, and electrical works. RSGx General Manager West, Michael O’Connell, said, “We are delighted to have been awarded this project, continuing our relationship with Fortescue and contributing to their decarbonisation journey.”   A huge congratulations to our team! Congratulations to the RSGx NRL and AFL tipping competition winners for 2024. They both blew away the rest of the field. Well done Jay Collett, representing our Snowy Hydro High Voltage Operations team for winning the AFL tipping competition, and to Dale Dickson, representing our Cross River Rail Roma Street electrical team for dominating the NRL tipping competition.
