On 19 September, 'RUSSH' presented at the annual Independents Day – a showcase of the biggest and brightest Independent Publishers in Australia. We were privileged to sit alongside brands like 'Broadsheet', 'The Urban List', 'Man of Many', 'The Star Observer' and many others as we collectively showcased the true strength of Independent Publishing in Australia. Today, people demand authenticity, connection and trust from their brands – and this is where Independents shine. Readers want what Independents have and we know that. When you try to speak to everyone, you end up speaking to no one. 72% of consumers prefer niche brands aligned with their interests rather than mainstream alternatives. In a world where trust is currency, we know that Independent Publishers come out on top. According to a DPA survey, 76% survey respondents viewed independent media titles as trustworthy - which is double the trust rating of most trusted conventional media publishers. It was a very special moment to stand alongside our Independent Media family as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary. And we were not the only publisher in the room to have two decades under our belts – a testament to the enduring longevity of Independent Media brands. After 20 years, we boast a devoted audience of tertiary educated decision-makers. 'RUSSH' has a collective reach of over 8 million across its platforms each month.
