Throwback to last month's CHINAEASA visit! It was a pleasure to welcome a delegation from the CHINAEASA (Chinese Essential Oils, Aroma, and Spices Trade Association) to our Sandalwood album plantations and our in-house wood processing facility in Kununurra, Australia. This rich and engaging exchange between enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals and our team of experts provided an opportunity to share our expertise in sustainable forestry, environmental protection, and essential oil extraction. While visiting 1 year old, 8 year old and 15 year old plantations, we showed how Santanol masters the entire value chain, from seedling selection in our nursery, to host tree selection, tree pruning, harvest and wood processing. We also showcased how we enhance biodiversity and preserve water. We ended the visit with a smelling session of our different qualities of sandalwood essential oils, highlighting the various olfactive profiles of our collection at our distillery in Perth.
