Construction Director Christopher Schiavello joined Property Council of Australia in a critical discussion on Psychological Safety recently. Supporting employee and contractor mental health is critical to our business, even in the ever changing workplace environments of our diverse business, which includes construction and development sites, manufacturing facilities and our offices. Creating environments where our people feel safe and supported has been one of the foundations of our business for decades, and we look forward to doing so even more in the future.

We are proud to be supporting the 10x10 Philanthropy event in Sydney tomorrow evening.    10x10 has a proud track record of supporting Australia’s most promising early-stage not-for-profits, connecting them with funding and opportunities to enable them to grow and become sustainable. To date, 10x10 has engaged more than 15,000 young people and raised $5.5m+ AUD to more than 400 social purpose organisations.    On the night, three of Sydney’s most innovative change-makers will take the stage to pitch for support. The festive spirit was in full swing as our NSW team welcomed clients, designers and industry friends for a sparkling end of year celebration.    The evening was a fantastic opportunity to gather, reconnect and celebrate another year with a champagne, canape, and gelato in hand. Our QLD showroom recently hosted an exclusive end-of-year event in partnership with global flooring brand Tarkett. Congratulations to three of our team members who have recently marked 25 years with Schiavello.   John Darmanin (centre) started his journey with Schiavello delivering and installing workstations for Schiavello Furniture, ensuring a high standard of quality and customer service. Today, John works in the internal dispatch of Schiavello Manufacturing, continuing to demonstrate his commitment to our customers by meeting delivery dates each and every day.   Steven Huang (right) started in our desking department as a CAD designer back in 1999 before moving into product design. He worked on product development within our metal storages departments for around 16 years, before shifting from metal to timber. Steven now works within our wood furniture department, developing CAD drawings to support a range of manufacturing requirements.   A mainstay in HQ, Peter Sama (left) has worked within our IT department throughout his tenure.
