This August our Director Tim Scott is attempting a solo swim across the English Channel with a bunch of mates in a swim group the "Bears of Brine!" They are raising money for the "Classroom of Hope" which is a really awesome cause - please see below for a little clip highlighting what it's all about. We wanted to share this video to spotlight some of the incredible humans fundraising for Classroom of Hope - the "Bears of Brine!" 🌊 These nine legendary swimmers from Perth are preparing to tackle a new challenge - swimming the English and Bristol channels. This is an incredible feat on its own, but it's not all they're working towards... As the Bears of Brine train and prepare for their big swim, they're also united by a greater purpose—raising money to build a new three-classroom Block School in Lombok with Classroom of Hope! The school will be constructed with earthquake-resistant building blocks made out of recycled plastic collected from the oceans and lands of Indonesia. Their journey symbolizes more than just a swim; it’s a stride towards transforming education for children in need. So far, they’ve raised $15,588.28 out of their $88,000 goal - and every donation helps bring them closer to the finish line. Watch their inspiring story below - and remember, you can do ANYTHING to fundraise for Classroom of Hope! 🏊♂️ 🙌 To support the Bears of Brine, visit their fundraising campaign at https://lnkd.in/d6Cwc7-G. 📽️ Video by Janine Sheen Story-driven Photography and Films James Clothier Zen Durbidge Nicholas Poushkine Ceinwen Roberts Dean Kerns Marcus Donato Tim Scott Luke Colsten Rory Thomson CFP® #SwimForChange #BearsOfBrine #SustainableDevelopment #CommunityImpact #ClassroomOfHope
