AVJennings is set to be taken private after American real estate giant Proprium Capital Partners lobbed a $374 million buyout offer. If the transaction proceeds, AV Jennings would become part of Proprium’s AVID Property Group. The takeover price is more than double AV Jennings’ market capitalisation.

This year’s biggest initial public offering, a $4 billion portfolio of data centres in Australia and the United States put together by HMC Capital, will start trading on the ASX on December 12 after a book build that was upsized to accommodate demand. The new infrastructure property trust, to be known as DigiCo REIT, will have an initial market capitalisation of $2.75 billion with an initial portfolio of 13 assets.
