We’ll unpack... ⚠️ Why people tend to take shortcuts and unnecessary risks 🧠 How certain brain functions, cognitive biases and the balance between one’s personal internal motivations and external pressures drive choices 🔎 What leaders can do to help their people be more focused, vigilant and make better safety decisions Taking part in this live webinar is a great way to set your safety intentions for the year, so reserve your free spot today: https://lnkd.in/ggvNc68k

Meet James Ellis, one of our dedicated facilitators who travels far and wide –from Tasmania’s green landscapes to the icy roads of the Canadian Arctic. His training room could be a farm shed in central WA, an outback mine site, or a corporate boardroom in Sydney – all in a month’s work! 🌏🚜🏢 James thrives on the dynamic nature of his role, requiring a deep understanding of neuroscience and psychology. With Sentis’ unique, note-free facilitation style, he stays fully present, connecting deeply with participants to inspire meaningful takeaways. 🎙️ “It’s pretty special to hear how participants plan to use their newfound neuroscience knowledge to stay safe and influence others – whether peers, leaders, partners, or even kids,” James shares. The journey doesn’t end after a session. Returning to clients and hearing how participants apply their learnings at work and home is a highlight for James, fostering lasting impact. When not traveling, James prioritises his wellbeing, practicing Pilates wherever he goes. At home, he indulges his love for cooking – often with a glass of wine in hand. 🍷🍳 We’re proud of James and his dedication to changing lives – one program, one conversation, and one insight at a time. 🙌 #SentisTeam #FacilitatorSpotlight #SafetyCulture

  • How do you help your team shake off ‘holiday mode’ and get back into the groove on the return to work—especially when it comes to safety? Try these tips to help with setting the tone: 1️⃣ Celebrate the Break Kick things off by sharing holiday highlights. Whether it’s a favourite trip or just time spent with family, these moments remind us why staying safe matters—so we can enjoy more of what we love. 2️⃣ Reconnect with Goals The start of the year is a fresh canvas. Take a moment to reflect on your team’s goals and the purpose behind their work. When safety is part of that picture, it’s easier to stay motivated and engaged. 3️⃣ Turn Safety Back On Let’s face it—staying vigilant after a break takes effort. A quick reminder of key safety tools and why we choose to stay safe can make all the difference. After all, it’s about ensuring everyone gets home to their loved ones. A small investment in connection and focus now can set the stage for a safer, more engaged year ahead. 💪 #BackToWork #SafetyFirst #TeamEngagement
