About us
As industries undergo ever-faster digital transformations, the need for talented and skilled professionals grows with it. Women cannot be left behind. By supporting future and current women leaders, women become critical in every part of the global tech economy. The gender imbalance in the professions we serve results from a complex set of structural and cultural issues that are incompatible with the values of the tech industry: innovation, creativity and diversity of thought. As an industry-leading organization that serves digital trust professionals around the world, ISACA must be focused on putting an end to gender inequality. SheLeadsTech empowers women to enhance their professional skills and advocate for their career advancement. ISACA is committed to investing in this important work and the people it supports.

What a fabulous morning of learning and connection we had at ISACA Canberra Chapter’s SheLeadsTech Canberra breakfast. SheLeadsTech founder Jo Stewart-Rattray discussed the need for more women in tech and the barriers to gender and cultural diversity - these stats have worsened since COVID! We must shift the dial on this! Sponsorship, male allyship, and educating young people on gender norms are all key. Jo had a call to action for us, which I extend to all of you who have capacity to sponsor, coach, mentor, educate and encourage and promote women and girls pursuing careers in STEM. We made great connections across our table – I’m sure we will continue the connections and important discussions! Dr Rina Bruinsma (GAICD), Kayelle Drinkwater, Dr Lubna Alam, Dr Rosetta Romano, Danette Fenton-Menzies, Candice Zhang, FCPA, GAICD, Melanie O'Brien, Permenthri Pillay. Thank you for a great morning SheLeadsTech Canberra! #womeninstem #diversity #inclusion #ISACACanberra

We’re absolutely in awe of Annie Haggar's incredible work and dedication! Her impact is nothing short of inspiring - and this presentation with Remy Coll has been great!
Remy Coll and Annie Haggar talking about the “cyber poverty line” - where cyber is missing for organisations such as not for profits and charities; small professional services, SMEs, and franchises; legal firms; and the reasons why - organisational intent; capitalism/greed; lack of understanding or prioritisation of information assets; hubris; and change resistance. Also - strong meme game 👌🏼 ISACA Canberra Chapter Conference
