About us
The fact is that people don’t believe in facts anymore. The great irony of the modern era is that having so much information at our fingertips has actually made it harder than ever to be certain about anything. So, in a world where facts are fluid and opinion can trump truth, how do you really connect with consumers? How do you get them to believe? In your product, your service or your cause? Factual product truths in isolation are no longer enough. It requires a truth that responds to your audience’s needs, that aligns with their values and that they can connect with emotionally. That’s belief. Belief is a state of mind in which confidence is placed in some person, product or brand. People use their beliefs to make sense of the world and define their place in it. What’s right and wrong, good and bad, valuable or ignorable. Beliefs drive our actions and by extension, our purchase decisions. When a brand becomes a part of a person's belief system, it becomes an integral part of their world view. It becomes a platform that endures, that you can invest in. Brands that focus on building belief will always find new ways to influence everything from buying behaviour to world views. Showpony is an antidote for brands struggling to connect with consumers so overwhelmed by competing facts and proof points, that they no longer know who or what to believe in. Our strategic process leans on what truly matters to consumers about a brand, and our creative process makes that truth utterly compelling. This isn’t just about achieving cut-through, it's deeper than that. It’s about building brands that people can believe in. At Showpony, we make belief.

We’re thrilled to announce we’ve been awarded the Rundle Mall account! As one of Australia’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, and a go-to for our Adelaide team, we couldn’t be happier. Thanks Nicola Smith, Andrew White and Michael Rossi from Adelaide Economic Development Agency for this incredible opportunity, and looking forward to working with Abby Sim, Elle Grady, Mariah Kokkotos and Stacey Woodrup. We’re excited to contribute to Rundle Mall’s ambitious plans for the future… and have another reason to shop our favourites.

There’s a stigma around gambling harm. Only around 1 in 10 moderate risk and ‘problem gamblers’ end up seeking help, and many young men are finding themselves tens of thousands of dollars in debt and struggling to find a way out. Our latest campaign for Anglicare Tas Inc aims to reduce that stigma by letting people know they understand what they’re going through and that they're here to help. Thanks Bronwen Hayes and Trina Mangels for trusting us with this important campaign, and to Dirty Puppet and Abe’s Audio for bringing it to life so beautifully. parris mesidis Claudia Steven Nic Maumill michail paderin Jermaine Rowe Nate Moore Annika Turon-Semmens Alexandra O'Neil Bryony Diggle Felipe Zapata Melissa R.

A good couple of weeks of besties for the Hobart and Adelaide offices….
Every week bestadsontv.com has a Creative Director from somewhere in the world judge the best ads of the week. The team at Showpony has a love/hate relationship to the weekly test of our collective creative fitness: kind of like beep test in year ten, it really depends on where you finish. This last fortnight has been pretty kind to us so there’s a lot of love in our Adelaide and Hobart offices this week. #hydrotasmania #sahealth #tafesa #bestadsontv #advertising

Working in healthcare can be tough – long hours, intense working environments and often, people’s lives literally on the line. To do the job well, you have to care deeply and our healthcare workers do, readily accepting these challenges as part of the job. Unfortunately there are other things they are being forced to accept. Abusive and violent behaviour against our healthcare workers increased by 43% last year. Working with SA Health, Showpony created a powerful new campaign that draws from the real experiences of frontline staff to give them a much needed voice, build public awareness and help reverse this disturbing trend - because abuse shouldn’t be part of the job. Thanks to Jon Logie, Bek Huppatz, Lauren Crozier, Alexi Tuckey for trusting us with the campaign, and our production partners Stepney Studios and Scott Illingworth. https://lnkd.in/gudJGpgZ

Veterinarians are four times more likely to die by suicide than the average person. Sophie Putland was one of them. Sophie's Legacy – founded by her parents, Kate and Garry Putland – is committed to addressing the mental health crisis that affects the vet profession across Australia. Using a shocking flip on a traditional 'lost pet' poster, our national campaign is designed to help secure more mental health support for vets – and you can play a part, by signing the petition today at www.sophieslegacy.com If you are experiencing personal crisis or having suicidal thoughts, call Lifeline 13 11 14.
