Yesterday, Silknote attended the Medical Software Industry Association Sydney Summit, where the need for comprehensive AI regulation in healthcare took centre stage. 💭 Are we truly addressing the ethical implications of large-scale patient data de-identification and redaction? While this common practice may aim to protect privacy, it often bypasses ISO42001 compliance, leaving data legally unprotected. Given that the health sector remains a prime target for cyber attacks, it is also crucial to consider the increased risks each time data is decrypted and the need to fortify protections in order avoid this. 💭

But how do we ensure it’s safe and reliable?
