And that is a wrap for I/ITSEC 2024. A very successful conference with many introductions and great leads. A big thanks to Team Defence Australia for making this opportunity possible for so many small Australian companies. We all hope you decide to do this again next year. A final shout out to Adrian Kougianos for representing Australia at the Serious Games challenge and to Andreas Muckenfuß for his win. It's people like this who prove that a computer game can change the world for the better.

Otto is pleased to report that Day 1 of I/ITSEC was a great success. He signed a number of autographs and spent most of the day taking selfies with fans. Meanwhile Rod and Lukas spent the day talking to people about SimStack and explaining how it can be used to effectively refurbish aging simulators. Simulator Solutions are delighted to launch SimStack Display. This modular, self-contained digital instrument can be used to display almost any traditional cockpit instrument. By using SimStack Display, the process of building a new instrument panel for your simulator just became so much easier. SimStack Display requires a single Ethernet connection, which delivers both power and data. A built-in web page for management and connectivity to our SimStack Switch software makes configuration changes and updates simple. Come and see us at I/ITSEC for a demonstration of SimStack Display, as well as the other products in our SimStack range.

We are delighted to introduce our latest employee to the world - Otto. Otto has decades of experience with automation in aviation, and has proven time and again his ability to work well under pressure. His knowledge of input and output solutions makes him a great addition to our team. Otto will be attending I/ITSEC with us in December, so please drop by stand 1961 to meet him. Despite his celebrity status, Otto doesn't have an over inflated opinion of himself, and will bring a breath of fresh air to I/ITSEC.

Simulator Solutions are delighted to have been selected to be part of the Team Defence Australia stand at IITSec 2024 in Orlando. The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modelling, simulation and training event IITSEC will give us an opportunity to show of our innovative SimStack range of Simulator integration products to a global audience. This last couple of weeks has seen us change from our usual Boeing brown background to Airbus blue. The good news is that our SimStack product doesn't care about the colour and is happy in any simulator, driving original, unmodified hardware. This former TAP A330 has found a new home with one of our customers and we are working hard to put it together.

A very big congratulations to Dan at the 744 Experience in Chester. We have been working with Dan for the last few years to bring this ex British Airways 747-400 back to life. Thanks for the shout out and I look forward to helping you get the last few things finished in a couple of weeks.

What do an aircraft instrument and a car dashboard have in common? SimStack of course! We have recently used our SimStack hardware to integrate both items into different simulators. SimStack's ability to integrate with OEM hardware allowed us to install these parts without modification, making the process of building the simulator much more cost effective for our clients. If you have existing hardware you want to install in a simulator, please get in touch.

Service call finished - and what a sight it is. We dropped in to service a 747-400 simulator for a customer today and had a bit of a fly while we were there. It's always a challenge to hand fly an ILS to minima with no flight director or auto throttle to assist. Doing it single handed adds yet another level of madness! Gear down - anyone, anyone?
