Last night MinRes was proud to take home the Workplace Wellbeing Excellence Award at the 2024 AIM WA Pinnacle Awards. The award acknowledges employee health and wellbeing initiatives rolled out across our metropolitan and remote locations, including the Next Level gym facility at our Osborne Park head office. We’ve nominated Lifeline WA to receive the award’s $20,000 training prize. As a long-time partner of Lifeline WA, MinRes supports the training of their volunteer Digital Crisis Supporters through our social investment program. Visit our website to learn more about the ways we’re supporting our people to be safe, happy and healthy while at work.

So incredibly happy to have chosen to use TradeMutt shirts for our team. Aside from the fact that Donna and the team are the best suppliers we've dealt with, Our shirts are #ConversationStarters for TIACS Working in Maritime we know better than anyone the toll it can take and an organisation not affiliated with companies who just gives counselling and listening advice to our Blue Collar people is something we're so glad to throw our team behind. It's a conversation every day not just #AreYouOk day and with TradeMutt giving half to TIACS without being more expensive our team is proud to be a Conversation starter. #Maritime #Offshore #TIACS #TradeMutt #Sindri #ThisIsAConversationStarter

Our industry-leading transhipping solution is one of the keys to unlocking the full potential of the Onslow Iron project. Hear from MinRes Marine Executive General Manager Jeff Weber on how we planned and recently launched this innovative technology. It’s the first time a project of this scale has been attempted in Australia, both in terms of production volumes and productivity of each transhipper. Watch the full-length video with sound 🔛 see the link in the comments below.

🚢 Our Onslow Iron project has delivered first ore on ship ahead of schedule 🚢 This milestone has been achieved just 11 months after breaking ground at Ken's Bore mine site, located 150km east of Onslow. MinRes Managing Director Chris Ellison said the historic moment cements our position as Australia’s leading commodity infrastructure business. “We have unlocked a whole new iron ore region for Australia, while Onslow Iron is a game-changer for MinRes as we transition to low-cost, long-life operations," Chris said. “There is no other company that could have delivered an operation of this size in such little time. The achievement is testament to the professionalism and can-do attitude of the more than 3,000 people who worked on Onslow Iron. “I want to thank everyone who bought our vision to life, including joint venture partners Baowu, AMCI and POSCO, our Traditional Owner partners - the Thalanyji and Robe River Kuruma peoples - and the wider Onslow community.”
