I'm excited to drop this announcement right on the 2024 closing bell - Sitemate has closed our Series A of $27.5M! We're now supporting 2,000 customers across the built world - from the delivery of solar renewable projects in rural New Zealand, to nuclear projects in Switzerland, and even helping Subaru build a new electric vehicle production facility just outside Chicago. This capital will be deployed to double down on existing product and engineering initiatives across three active products; Dashpivot (HSEQ & Field Reporting), Flowsite (Integration and Business Process Automation) and Gearbelt (Asset Management), as well as cross-product authentication and billing and global infrastructure hosting now also live, not to mention products #4, #5 and #6 coming through. The round is led by Blackbird with participation from existing investors Shearwater Capital, Artesian (Alternative Investments), Marbruck and Startmate as well as new investors OIF Ventures, Hostplus and Gravel Road Ventures. The journey from starting in the basement of the University of Technology Sydney's engineering building whilst Sam and I were both still students, to now with some of the references in this article, has been a wild ride - but we're only just getting started.
