Last week I wrapped up my work travel for the year with a trip to Melbourne and specifically our pop-up with the Banyule City Council. It was a great turn out with 40 people from Government, NFP, Water and Power Utilities and as I described them, lovingly, a gaggle of consultants. I rounded up my presentations from our Equity in Engagement study and Belinda from Banyule told a story about their specially commissioned aboriginal art piece that they use in their community engagement processes. Our Equity in Engagement wrap up will conclude soon with an e-Book covering the survey results and some of the stories we have collected since it closed. To be notified when that e-Book is ready make sure you sign up to our Social Pinpoint e-newsletter in LinkedIn, Pinpoint. #communityengagement #digitalengagement #networking

Webinar: Regulation Changes to Land Access 🎉 📆 Date: Thursday, December 5 🕓 Time: 11am AEDT | 30-minute duration 🔗 Register: https://lnkd.in/g9b342zF Managing access to private land has quickly become a critical component of managing Australia’s program of rapid infrastructure renewal. How well you manage land access may determine the success of your project. In March 2024, the Essential Services Commission Victoria released the Land Access Code of Practice that transmission companies must adhere to when seeking to access land in Victoria. This will likely lead to other states adopting similar legislation. Join us on Thursday, December 5th, for a 30-minute deep dive to get an overview of how it is being followed in practice. Can’t make the live event? No problem—register anyway, and you’ll receive a link to the on-demand recording to watch at your convenience.
