The University of Canterbury Motorsport (UCM) team is made up of 20 final year engineering students based in Christchurch, New Zealand. The competition winning UCM23 focused on simplicity and reliability and this is carried through into 2024. Meet UNSW Redback Racing, proudly celebrating 25 years of FSAE, racing and teamwork! Their latest car, RB24, is their new fully electric and first-ever dual-purpose autonomous racecar, designed, built, and tested by a passionate team of engineering students from UNSW. Every component reflects their dedication, technical skills, and collaboration. On the right is RB23, last year's electric racecar that came 2nd in 2023 and on the left is RB21-D, their first ever electric car in 2022, that was converted to autonomous in 2023. The lessons learnt from both cars have been instrumental in developing RB24. #fsaea2024 #formulasae
