Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve. On Remembrance Day, we acknowledge the resilience of veterans and their families. Lest we forget. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #RespectAndGratitude
Defence joins all Australians on Remembrance Day to acknowledge, honour and remember the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country and those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Today, we commemorate those who died in the First World War, as well as all Australian Defence Force personnel who have fought and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. ♥ The year marks the 106th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice between Allied forces and Germany, which ended the First World War (1914–18). On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. More Australians were killed and wounded in the First World War than in all subsequent conflicts combined. As a mark of respect, Australians are encouraged to pause at 11am for one minute’s silence and remember all those who died or suffered for Australia in all wars and armed conflicts. Lest We Forget. 🕊️❤️ #YourADF #WeWillRememberThem #LestWeForget

Spec Services recently completed one of the most intriguing projects to date – the National Carillon. Our specialist cleaning team carried out a range of projects - including the restorative cleaning of the façade, removal and replacement of custom glass windows, removal and replacement of the bird deterrent system, biohazard cleaning and removal of pigeon guano, and cleaning of the belfry. The Carillon is a heritage-listed building on a heritage-listed island, which made this restoration and remediation project particularly challenging. We navigated complex logistics, methodology, safety, and environmental management to ensure the successful completion of the project. As part of the Healthier Work ACT program, Spec Services is proud to present Dallas Te Waka with his certificate and medal for Excellence in Workplace Health and Wellbeing. 👏👏👏 Dallas demonstrated great initiative by providing handwarmers to employees working at one of our job sites during freezing temperatures in June. This thoughtful act not only improved morale but also helped the team stay on track to meet their targets and deadlines for critical site inspections. This award is a reminder that small efforts can make a big difference! ⭐ The certificate and medal were presented by Spec’s Managing Director Kate Hale. Congratulations, Dallas, and thank you for your contribution to the team’s wellbeing and success! We are more than just a cleaning company 💙 #SpecServices #SpecIndigenous #Canberrajobs
