No humans, just dancers at Queensland Country Bank Stadium recently for The Killers concert! Congratulations to the #QueenslandCountryBankStadium team on delivering another standout event for the region!
Somebody Told Me that 18,000 Killers fans had a #killer night in Townsville recently! 🎸 We’re still coming down from the electric concert from The Killers and JET, complete with lasers, ticker tape cannons and the entire stadium singing and dancing along. It was hot, but the performance was hotter! 🔥 Queensland Country Bank Stadium General Manager Cameron Jones said it was certainly one to remember. “An incredible event at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday 30 November, with the stadium erupting in an explosion of rock and roll, thanks to The Killers and JET. “They had fans dancing in their seats to Mr Brightside and belting out the chorus to Somebody Told Me, no doubt some fantastic memories created. “North Queensland has showed what we’re capable of, and with around 22% of fans coming from outside the region, including 12% from interstate or overseas, it’s clear we’re becoming a destination for big events, and I hope it’s a sign of more to come." Thanks to all our event partners in bringing this incredible event to life!
