Stirling Hospital is very excited to announce that Dr Gabrielle Smart (Allen) a Paediatric Dentist, will start to regularly operate with us from July 2024.   Gabrielle was born and raised in the South East of South Australia, and only now after 10+ years, considers herself a self-proclaimed hills local. About a year ago she decided to fulfil her dream of owning her own practice, and with the support of her husband Jimmy, opened Hills and Country Paediatric Dentistry located in Hahndorf. Prior to this she worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a Consultant Paediatric Dentist until 2023, having completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with a concurrent Bachelor of Applied Science in Dentistry (Honours) at the University of Adelaide in 2010. In 2015 she also completed a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry), also at the University of Adelaide. Gabrielle is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in both General and Specialist Dental Practice. Away from work she enjoys time with family, horse riding, water skiing and pottering with the kids in the veggie patch. Stirling Hospital is excited to launch a new service with the introduction of a comprehensive Respiratory and Sleep Lab Service. Adelaide Sleep and Respiratory Centre is proud to be providing this new service from 5 July 2024, which will be led by Dr Khin Hnin and Dr Jared Anderson. The Respiratory Service will be conducted from Stonehenge Consulting Suite from July 2024, and the Sleep Lab Service will be undertaken at the Hospital commencing during August 2024. Stirling Hospital is excited to announce that Dr Corinne Maiolo, a qualified dermatologist, will commence consulting and procedural work at Stirling Hospital in July. Dr Maiolo graduated from the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology. She specialises in the medical and surgical treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions in children and adults. She also has an interest in cosmetic dermatology. Dr Maiolo is passionate about patient education and supporting her patients through their treatments. She founded myPRODERM in 2019 and the clinic now services the Adelaide CBD, Adelaide Hills and Riverland. In her spare time, Dr Maiolo enjoys baking and loves to spend time with her young family.
