Strathfield Council is in the process of creating a Public Domain Design Manual (PDDM) to guide the design of streetscapes, civic spaces, and open areas throughout Strathfield as the area continues to grow. ✅ A key focus of the PDDM is recognising and understanding Aboriginality within the Strathfield Local Government Area (LGA). Yesterday, Council staff participated in a Walk on Country with Murawin and respected Elders, Uncle John and Aunty Liz Dickson. With their valuable guidance, the PDDM will thoughtfully integrate Aboriginal perspectives and cultural significance into the design of Strathfield’s public domain.
