It was fantastic to see prominent figures from broadcasting, TV, and video come together to experience Melbourne’s newest media destination. The night wasn’t just about showcasing a new space; it was about celebrating the vision behind it. Bob Grieve, the visionary who brought Studio B to life from the ground up, infused every corner with his passion and expertise. From his early days at ABC to founding Dreampool Productions, Bob’s remarkable journey was evident and highly appreciated. Guests were impressed by the studio’s state-of-the-art features, particularly Studio 1 with its impressive LED screens and sleek talent desk. With four studios, a high-tech control room, and a dedicated podcast space, the excitement about what’s ahead was palpable. Thanks to Mal Nichols for the design, and brought to life by Dale Gilham and Lea Zerbes, Studio B is poised to be a major player in Melbourne’s media landscape.
