With a relaxed and unpretentious approach to our furniture curation, each piece is functional and robust and able to deal with two growing teenage children without compromising on quality and original craftmanship. HOT OFF THE PRESS. We are thrilled to share our latest design project, located in the serene suburb of Mount Waverley. This project embodies our philosophy of creating original, timeless interiors that transcend trends. This 5-bedroom, double-storey family home is a true reflection of our signature detailing and refined material palette curation. Featuring a warm monochrome theme, every space—from the Living Room and Kitchen to the Bar and Master Ensuite—demonstrates a perfect balance of elegant functionality and sophisticated craftsmanship. In the Living Room, wall-to-wall joinery is refined and thoughtfully crafted, creating a warm and inviting space that enhances everyday living. Sliding doors elegantly conceal the TV, allowing for a seamless, clutter-free environment that, when closed, encourages family connection and interaction. The central stairs, linking the ground and first floors, are adorned with a stunning feature stone that elevates the space, making a grand statement while adding sophistication and a sense of luxury to the home. Construction is already underway, with an expected completion date in late 2025. IN CONSTRUCTION. Hampton. The Formal Living Room has been designed around a central fireplace that will be tiled with Moroccan Zellige tiles for maximum texture. New steel framed doors with arched references and reeded glass will have custom marble handles that beckon you inside whilst beyond this room, the structural brick pillar will be sanded back and lightly painted and a previous open balustrade void will be clad with timber panelling to create a warm and welcoming entry experience. IN CONSTRUCTION. Hampton. Working with existing windows in the Master Ensuite has allowed us to explore a unique design for the vanity unit. A curved splashback and rounded corners to the recessed mirror cabinets break up straight lines and the peachy pink tones of the natural stone contrast the organic texture on the mosaic wall tiles. Our Mount Martha project appears in the Grand Designs Australia Kitchens & Bathrooms Annual magazine, vol 8. To say I've been blown away by the interest in this project is an understatement. Having this project published in not 1 but 3(!!!) magazines in 2024 is a testament to hard work, perseverance, a great team and believing in yourself and your work. By opening up the centre of the house a new floorplan has been designed for better connection, flow and natural light at our Hampton project. The Kitchen, Dining and Lounge areas have all been relocated. Existing structural pillars have been embraced and incorporated into the joinery design and a new intimate Formal Lounge room has been created by closing off a wall where the previous dining room was. The pokey U shaped Kitchen now becomes a generous sized linear kitchen with 4.5m Island bench. In the new Family Room, the TV joinery extends from one wall to incorporate a bench seat, perfect for reading and R&R. Where the study once was a new arched hallway has been created that leads to the family and living areas and brings in a load of natural light with it. A new Powder Room has been created, where previous under stair storage was and a new larger Laundry and Master Bedroom with Ensuite and Walk in Wardrobe follows down the hallway. Spatial planning is just one of the many services we provide for our Clients. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Drawing inspiration from the coastal colours and textures of the Mornington Peninsula, we sprinkled our magic over every inch of this Mt Martha home with new materials, textured furnishings, a new kitchen, master ensuite and bathrooms to create a light, warm and layered contemporary home. The clients engaged our Studio to rejuvenate and modernise their house. They wanted a place they felt proud to call home and recognised the value in investing in quality materials and updating joinery to a contemporary design. With very little structural modifications required to the interior, we elevated the beauty and functionality of the spaces with a soft-white, textural and natural palette. With a refined and tactile selection of materials and finishes, the house is now unrecognisable from its original incarnation.
