🚀 What an Incredible Start to Our First Annual Pitch Competition! 🚀 This past week, Swinburne Entrepreneurship Club hosted an event that truly highlighted the incredible talent and passion within our community—our first-ever pitch competition! 💡 Night One: Practice Makes Perfect We kicked off with a relaxed practice pitch night, where contestants shared their startup ideas with fellow students and our faculty advisor. The vibe was supportive and energetic, with everyone eager to give and receive feedback. It was all about refining those ideas and building confidence for the big day. 🏆 Night Two: The Real Deal The next evening, it was game time! Contestants returned, this time to pitch their polished ideas in a more formal setting, competing for some exciting prizes. The room was buzzing with anticipation, and the improvement from the previous night was amazing to see. It was clear that everyone had put in the work, and the results spoke for themselves. 👏 Thank Yous All Around A huge shoutout to all our contestants - Chinmay Khokhar, Spencer Tighe-Martin, Rickie Ng, and Davin Karunanayake -you guys brought your A-game and really showed what Swinburne’s entrepreneurial spirit is all about. To our committee members - Sophie Watson, Taylor Pham, Jasmeet Singh, Molika Meng, Tim Ha, Femmy Juliani, and Jowairiyah Azher, your hard work behind the scenes made this event possible. And a special thank you to our faculty advisors - Rick Laferriere and Elizabeth Gould, whose guidance was invaluable throughout the event. ✨ Looking Ahead This competition was more than just an event—it was a community coming together to support each other’s dreams. We’re proud to keep the entrepreneurial flame burning bright at Swinburne University of Technology and even more excited for what’s next! Best, Swinburne Entrepreneurship Club Committee
