The Sydney Swans would like to extend a huge thank you to the community of Maningrida after an incredible trip through West Arnhem Land. A special mention to those at AMSANT, Mala'la Health Service Aboriginal Corporation, and West Arnhem Regional Council who were part of the journey and contributed to our first smoke-free 'Kick The Habit' Footy Festival.

We have added four new faces to the club at the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft over the last two nights with Jesse Dattoli, Ned Bowman, Riley Bice and Riak Andrew all added to the club's list.

After a season of record membership and record crowds we’re excited to welcome the fixture for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, announced today by the AFL. We will start the season with back-to-back games at the SCG including an Opening Round Friday night fixture against Hawthorn. See what else the fixture has in store for us ⬇️

Our CEO Tom Harley and his wife, women’s health advocate and author Felicity Harley today visited The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation Giving Day. Over the years our players and staff have had first hand experiences and been supported by the incredible work the hospital does. On this Giving Day, all donations before midnight tonight will be doubled. These funds help assist specialised equipment and research that saves and changes lives. 'Practical insights and tools', 'diverse perspectives on leadership and high performance”, and 'a unique training course' – these are just some of the comments from the first cohort to undertake Leading for High Performance, a collaboration between the Sydney Swans and the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW. The course draws on examples from the Sydney Swans elite performance environment to equip participants to adapt their management style, understand human motivation, and ultimately develop and manage a team of high performers.    Applications are now open for our next intake, set to be held on November 25 and 26 at Sydney Swans HQ. This week we have farewelled AFLW Strength and Conditioning Coach Stephen Kelly after 12 years with the club. Our AFL, AFLW and QBE Sydney Swans Academy football programs have all benefitted from Steve’s involvement over the years. None more so than the current AFLW program which he created from scratch, crucially building the capability of our players. AFLW at the Sydney Swans simply wouldn’t be where it is today without Steve’s contribution and the high-performance standards that he has set. We wish Steve all the best with the new chapter!
