Who's cutting onions in here? 🩵 William Buck, we love what we achieve together to change lives. On Tuesday night, we had the pleasure of hosting thousands of sick and disadvantaged children to GLOW for a special night out - made possible by the support of William Buck.   Among those that joined us was 8-year-old Tommy from Penrith, who was diagnosed with the rare and terminal brain cancer DIPG. Along with this year’s donation to RUN DIPG, our annual GLOW Charity Night provides families like Tommy’s with a moment of joy and togetherness during difficult times and shows just how important community support can be. 

We’re very proud to announce a key development in our transition to renewable energy, thanks to our new partnership with EnergyAustralia.  The installation of 602 solar panels across 8 buildings is estimated to prevent over 200 tonnes of CO2 associated with our electricity consumption in the first year alone and is estimated that the panels generate up to half of the zoo’s peak electricity needs on a sunny summer’s day, marking a milestone in the reduction of our carbon. The partnership includes school programs and educational initiatives, with both EnergyAustralia and Sydney Zoo having a shared vision for educating future leaders on renewable energy solutions like solar.   Read more about our partnership at https://lnkd.in/g46GrUpe
