T8 Gold - November Performance: 🏅 T8 Gold's Performance: T8 Gold is up 28.9% year-to-date as of 30 November 2024 Since inception: T8 Gold is up 116.1% (15.5% per annum) relative to its benchmark up 61.7% 💡 Key Insights: The key factor influencing the gold market during the month was the US election. Gold bullion-backed ETFs experiencing their first month of net outflows since April this year. In spite of this, outflows stabilising for the remainder of the month and the gold price rebounding would indicate that investors bought the dip, which is an encouraging sign. Central banks continued purchasing gold at elevated levels, reporting their strongest month year-to-date. The most notable buyer was China which made its first purchase since April. 📈 Opportunity Ahead: Valuations on gold mining stocks are at what we believe is a 25-year low. 📉 T8 Energy Vision November Update: T8 Energy Vision ended November down 1.0% (in Australian dollars, or down 1.7% in US dollars). Since inception, T8 Energy Vision is up 41.9% (6.8% per annum) relative to its benchmark up 15.1%. ⚡ Key Insights: Negative sentiment in the majority of the electric energy sector was likely related to the perception that renewables are under pressure. Our research indicates that an ‘all nuclear and gas’ scenario is implausible. The US has increasing demand for electricity for the first time in 20 years (driven by data centres) and needs new electricity generation capacity very quickly. ⚡ Outlook: We have a very optimistic outlook for electricity demand and all electricity generation technologies, their supply chains and associated infrastructure.
