Today R.M.Williams launched its Christmas campaign, ‘Give Me Home’. Under a gum tree on Sydney’s Bennelong Lawn, award-winning Australian-artist Thelma Plum performed her cover of John Williamson’s Aussie classic ‘(Give me a) Home Among the Gumtrees’. R.M.Williams CEO Paul Grosmann says the campaign launch is a nostalgic nod to summers spent in Australia and he is proud to share it with a global audience. "It's been almost five decades since John Williamson released the original '(Give Me A) Home Among the Gum Trees and we are proud to be partnering with such a talented musician like Thelma Plum." Thelma's fresh rendition of the song will play in all R.M.Williams stores over the festive season. Australia's renewable energy sector is making huge progress in reducing CO2 emissions, and the Clean Energy Council has released a report that projects what progress could look like in the years to come if we continue on our trajectory. It shows that if Australia achieves its 82 per cent renewable energy target by 2030, the total emissions saved between 2015 and 2030 is expected to reach almost one billion tonnes. We're proud to be playing our part in this progress. To date, Squadron Energy has generated enough renewable electricity to: ❌ avoid more than 7 million tonnes of emissions 👷 while creating 2,100 direct jobs and 💰 injecting $350 million into regional economies. It was great to join the Albany Rock Oyster Start of Season Celebration with the Harvest Road Group team at Bib & Tucker in North Fremantle. The start of Albany oyster season signals the start of summer and this year premium West Australian rock oysters are available across WA, Sydney and Melbourne through the warmer months.

Tattarang’s Portfolio companies have been out and about in the regions. 🤠 🐎🥧🏉   Akubra joined the Kempsey community for the biggest day on its annual calendar, the Kempsey Cup. Over in Tamworth, locals were treated to specially-crafted R.M.Williams pies, celebrating the grand reopening of the R.M.Williams Tamworth store.   Meanwhile, Squadron Energy and the St George Illawarra Dragons took their health and wellbeing Community Blitz Program to four local schools in the South West Slopes region of NSW.

Our Chairman, Dr Andrew Forrest AO, has been named in the 2024 TIME100 Climate list, placing him among the most influential climate leaders globally. Only through strong leadership can the world go green. We have the technology, we have the capital, we just need leadership. Through our portfolio company Squadron Energy, Dr Forrest is working to decarbonise Australia’s energy grid. While at Fortescue he is driving the transition from one of Australia’s biggest polluters to a Company that will profitably eliminate fossil fuels from its mining operations by 2030 - and demonstrate that the time for excuses is over. #TIME100Climate
