What a privelege to be part of a small international delegation of people working in #clusters and across #innovationecosystems at this week's first Global Food Security Summit in Abu Dhabi (with my colleague Dr Mirjana Prica). Food bridges all cultures yet hundreds of millions of people around the world experience #foodinsecurity - requiring urgent #collectiveaction and whole systems approaches. It’s symptomatic of #wickedproblems and contributes to others. All of my favourite C's as part of the conversations - #collaboration #coinnovation #capabilitybuilding, #connections, #communications. A very big thank you to the wonderful UAE Ministry of Economy team who hosted us. I'll share more reflections and insights in another post. Global Food Security Summit- leaders from 70 countries gathered in Abi Dhabi to raise awareness on the challenges of feeding populations today and tomorrow. Contributions from Australia, Netherlands, Denmark and Spain shared the power of food clusters and how they are galvanising efforts in local regions to address food security challenges. Exciting to hear UAE are embarking on their cluster journey to tackle food security challenges.
